Will a cover image be created?
If Prepare a cover is selected, the page creates one temporary AI-generated cover after the story text is ready. If that cover is ready when you explicitly save the story to Story Studio, one local cover can be saved with it on this browser and device. A pending or failed cover is not saved, and no cloud backup is created.
Can I adjust the story?
Yes. A current result can be made calmer, shorter, or given a different ending. The result remains temporary until you save it. A saved Bedtime project can use the same fixed adjustments in Story Studio, where successful changes are saved locally and earlier versions remain recoverable.
What does Reading Mode do?
Reading Mode opens a focused reading view for a parent or caregiver. It does not generate voice or audio.
